Day of Fun Pictures was started in 2004 by Jay Kanzler with the intent of making independent films that always entertain and often inform.

We have worked with some of the best craftspersons in the industry, including actor Eric Roberts ("Dark Knight"), Actress Nia Peeples ("Walker Texas Ranger"), writer-producer-director Brian Hohlfeld ("The New Winnie the Pooh"), videographer Chris Benson ("Ghost Image"), videographer Jack Twesten ("Riverboat Dreams"), animator Hanna Bliss (Cartoon Network).

Among the many wonderful and talented individuals who have appeared in our films are: Eric Roberts, Nia Peeples, Dingani Beza, Jilanne Klaus, The Flying Wallenda Family, Ralphie May, George Wallace, Carrot Top, Sacha Pavlata, Tommy Johnigan, Greg Warren, Wild Bill Bauer, Ron Sexton, Bob Zany, Bob & Tom, Frank Caliendo, Drew Hastings, Giovanni Zoppe, David Balding, John Haug, the Monks of Conception Abbey, and Jim Stafford.

Day of Fun Pictures' films have won numerous awards, including a Platinum Aurora, Golden Remi, Golden Aurora, Redemptive Story Teller Award, and several individual festival awards.  The films have appeared throughout the country on local public television, cable television stations, and WGN America.
