Day of Fun Pictures was started in 2004 by Jay
Kanzler with the single purpose of making independent films that entertain and inform.
We have worked
with some of the best craftspersons in the industry, including writer-producer-director Brian
Hohlfeld ("He Said, She Said," "The New Winnie the Pooh," "a magical
life: circus flora"), videographer Jack Twesten (ESPN,
"MNF," "Riverboat Dreams"), animator Hanna Bliss (Cartoon
Network), actor-producer Carrie Houk ("a magicgal
life: circus flora"), sound and lighting guru David Houle, sound technician Ben Moyer, and Christopher Kanzler.
Among
the many wonderful and talented individuals who have appeared in our films are: The
Flying Wallenda Family, Sacha Pavlata, Wild Bill Bauer, David Balding and Jim
Stafford.
Day of Fun Pictures' films have won numerous awards, including a
Golden Remi, Golden Aurora, and several festival awards. The films have appeared throughout the country on local
public television and cable television stations.
